TABLED- The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Warmington, seconded by Councilor Wheeler, with Councilor Stevens voting no, voted to table the request to authorize to sell the state-owned land, buildings, and other improvements known as the Lakes Region Facility located along North Main Street/Parade Road (NH Route 106), Meredith Center Road, and Eastman Road, and abutting Ahern State Park, Laconia, NH (the “Property”) to Legacy at Laconia, LLC for $21,500,000, pursuant to the terms of a Purchase and Sale Agreement. Effective upon G&C approval. 100% Net Proceeds from Sale (General Fund). *Councilor Warmington stated that regarding the sale of the Laconia state school property, she learned from a media report that a firm of which she is “of counsel” is involved in a lawsuit with the developer for this item.
