Description

Authorize to expand categorical eligibility criteria for the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for households with income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) to 200% of the FPL. Effective upon G&C approval. SNAP is 100% Federally Funded and is not a budget line item within the DHHS – BFA appropriation. Fiscal Committee approved on September 9, 2022.
