Authorize the Division of Agricultural Development to retroactively amend an accept and expend item in the amount of $500,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture (originally approved by G&C on 9/15/21, Item #38B) for grants to organizations and agencies to address issues regarding farmer stress, mental health, and suicide by extending the end date from August 31, 2022 to June 30, 2023. Effective upon G&C approval. (2) Further authorize to accept and expend $59,606 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture for grants to organizations and agencies to address issues regarding farmer stress, mental health, and suicide. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2023. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on October 14, 2022.
