Authorize to accept the Bureau of Rail & Transit’s notification to the Governor and Executive Council of the acceptance of an offer from the Boston and Maine Corporation to purchase 5.475 acres of railroad land (the Northern Railroad Corridor) in Boscawen, NH for $110,000. The funds for the acquisition are being donated to the Department, via a Contribution Agreement, from the Friends of the Northern Rail Trail; the Contribution Agreement will be presented to you for approval at a future meeting.
