Authorize to establish a temporary part-time Data Scientist-2 position for the purpose of supporting the state’s crime data collection and sharing capabilities. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2027. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on February 20, 2026. (2) Further authorize to accept and expend a grant award from the US Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Statistics, State Justice Statistics Program for Statistical Analysis Centers in the amount of $37,504 for the purpose of supporting the state’s crime data collection and sharing capabilities.
