Description
Authorize the Division of Agricultural Development to retroactively amend a Fiscal Committee Item (originally approved by G&C on 2/8/23, Item #68) by extending the current end date from June 30, 2025 to October 31, 2025 to accept and expend Local Food for Schools Cooperative Grant Program funds from United States of Agriculture in the amount of $439,353 for the purpose of procuring local commodity foods for schools participating in the National School Lunch Program. Effective upon G&C approval. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on September 5, 2025.
