Authorize to retroactively amend item #38, originally approved by G&C on April 4, 2014, by extending the end date from June 30, 2015 to December 31, 2015 of a Paralegal II position, labor grade 19, for the purpose of assisting attorneys and investigators in research, fact-finding, trial preparation and case management in matters involving Medicaid provider fraud, patient abuse and financial exploitation. (2)Further authorize to retroactively accept and expend $31,715 ($23,786 from the US Department of Health and Human Services, Medicaid Faud and $7,929 in agency income), for the purpose of supporting the Paralegal II position above. Effective July 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015. 75% Federal, 25% Other Agency Income. Fiscal Committee approved.
