Authorize the Division of State Police to transfer $9,841 within the account entitled Backlog Reduction Program, to realign appropriated funds that will be used by the Forensic Laboratory to provide funding for supplies, travel and equipment within the State Police Forensic Lab. (2)Further authorize to accept and expend an additional $114,682 of federal funds from the US Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, National Institute of Justice for the purpose of reducing DNA Backlog cases within the State Police Forensic Lab. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2015. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on November 10, 2014.
