Description
Authorize to amend a Justice Reinvestment Intensive Technical Assistance to States sub grant received from The Council of State Governments, a nonprofit organization (originally approved by G&C on 6-6-12, item #87), to provide technical assistance and training for parole board members, Parole/Probation staff and Community Corrections staff in the latest effective approaches to manage re-entering offenders and upgrade data gathering capabilities, by extending the end date from May 31, 2013 to June 30, 2013. No Additional Funding. 100% Agency Income (federal funds at origin). Fiscal Committee approved.
