Description

Authorize the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management to accept and expend Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the amount of $2,210,557 for the implementation of cost effective mitigation project. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2013. (2)Further authorize to enter into a grant agreement with the Town of Conway, NH, in the amount of $554,102 for implementation of projects identified through the evaluation of natural hazards, specifically projects within Transvale Acres. Effective upon G&C approval through January 29, 2016. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on March 8, 2013.
