Authorize the Division of Higher Education to enter into a sole source contract with NH College and University Council, Concord, NH, to promote student participation in a rigorous high school curriculum; enhance the quality and number of tools available for schools that encourage postsecondary education; expand professional development opportunities for middle and high school guidance personnel regarding academic rigor; and, increase the access to higher education opportunities, build financial literacy, and provide information about the road to college to underrepresented students, in the amount of $250,000. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION #73 Authorize the Bureau of Rail and Transit to amend a contract with the Nashua Regional Planning Commission, Merrimack, NH, (originally approved by G&C on 5-25-11, item #82), for coordinated transportation services for elderly persons and persons with disabilities, by increasing the amount by $101,638 from $101,638 to $203,276. No Additional Funding. #75 Authorize the Bureau of Aeronautics to award a grant to the City of Manchester for the demolition and removal of the Highlander Inn at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. In additional to the demolition project, the federal funding will upgrade the airfield control system, in the amount of $408,739. (2)Further authorize a contingency in the amount of $76,148.58 for payment of latent conditions which may appear during the construction of the project.
