Description
Authorize to award a grant to the Town of Newport, in the amount not to exceed $1,350,000 for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project. Effective upon G&C approval through October 30, 2024. 100% Federal Funds. (2) Further authorize to amend a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan agreement with the Town of Newport (originally approved by G&C on 6/24/20, item #148), to increase the loan amount by $3,000,000 from $1,500,000 to $4,500,000. Effective upon G&C approval. 100% CWSRF Repayment Funds.
