Authorize, pursuant to RSA 4:29, to purchase from Public Service Company of New Hampshire d/b/a Eversource Energy, Manchester, NH, in exchange for the total amount of $26,000, plus reasonable, necessary, and customary closing and transfer costs, pursuant to the terms of a certain Purchase and Sale Agreement submitted herewith to be effective upon G&C approval, an unimproved parcel of land in Pembroke situated along the east side of the Soucook River with no established access thereto having an area of approximately 10.4 acres (Pembroke Tax Map 632, Lot 11, Unit 2), which parcel of land abuts other land of the State managed by DMAVS, said abutting land being more commonly known as the New Hampshire Army National Guard Edward Cross Training Complex located on Riverwood Drive in Pembroke, NH. The land will be conveyed without any explicit covenants, restrictions, or permissions regarding hunting, fishing, or other recreational activities. Fishing will be permitted on the land. Hunting [and trapping] are permitted only on a case-by-case basis when military training is not ongoing. In addition to fishing, non-motorized access for the following recreational activities will be permitted on the land: trail running, wildlife viewing, hiking, and snowshoeing. Applicable department of military affairs and veterans services regulations, local, and state laws will govern such activities on the land.
