Authorize a Fiscal Committee Item (originally approved by G&C on 8/18/21, Item #122), for Division of Public Works (DPW) American Rescue Plan Act Temporary Staffing Capacity to re-purpose the remaining funds of $1,130,400 and reallocate as detailed below to better align with current ARPA programs and projects administered by the Department. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2024. (2) Further authorize to accept and expend $1,130,400 from the DPW ARPA Temporary Staffing Capacity to the DAS ARPA programs titled State Building HVAC Replace and Repair/Maintenance, and the Investments in Deferred Maintenance of State Facilities. (3) Further authorize to amend the accept and expends for the ARPA SFRF programs titled Statewide Recruitment Unit, State Building HVAC Replace and Repair/Maintenance, and the Investments in Deferred Maintenance of State Facilities by extending the end date for funding from June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2025 and re-allocate in the amount of $541,643 among existing classes as detailed in the letter dated May 2, 2024. (4) Further authorize to amend the accept and expend ARPA SFRF programs titled Statewide Recruitment Unit, State Building HVAC Replace and Repair/Maintenance, and the Investments in Deferred Maintenance by extending the end date of positions from June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2025. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on May 17, 2024.
