Authorize to accept and expend the Family First Transition Act Grant award from the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families, in the amount of $158,282, for the purpose of establishing one temporary full-time position. (2) Further authorize the allocation of these funds as detailed in the letter dated January 25, 2024. (3) Further authorize to establish one temporary full-time position, Miscellaneous Community and Social Service Specialists-6, to meet a Federal Executive Order to provide and build greater capacity in engaging and serving vulnerable and marginalized families. This role will be responsible for creating, implementing, and sustaining new foundational lenses and evidence-based strategies and services to infuse equality and inclusion in decision-making processes, inform service array creation, and advance equity in agency actions, programs, policies. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2025. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on February 16, 2024.
