Authorize to accept and expend Federal funds in the amount of $1,306,219 from the US Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, Bryne State Crisis Intervention Program, for the purpose of establishing a Crisis Intervention and Behavioral Health Initiatives Program Coordinator, to subgrant funds to the Administrative Office of the Courts for the establishment of the position of Statewide Treatment Court Coordinator, and to subgrant funds to local agencies focused on mental health crisis intervention. (2) Further authorize to establish one temporary full-time Crisis Intervention and Behavioral Health Initiatives Program Coordinator, within budget class 059 for the purpose of aligning the mission of the Bryne State Crisis Intervention Program. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2025. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on February 16, 2024.
