Authorize to amend a Fiscal Committee Item (originally approved by G&C on 3/23/22, Item #17), by extending the end date from July 31, 2024 to June 30, 2025. (2) Further authorize to continue the full-time temporary position, MED-HLTH SVCS MGRS-2, effective August 1, 2024. (3) Further authorize to accept and expend funds from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to fund the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Prevention and Control of Emerging Infectious Disease in the amount of $770,622. (4) Further authorize the funds to be allocated as detailed in the letter dated December 21, 2023. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2025. 100% Federal Funds. Fiscal Committee approved on January 19, 2024.
