Authorize to amend a Fiscal Committee Item (originally approved by G&C on 1/26/22, Item #17), by extending the end date from July 31, 2024 to June 30, 2025. (2) Further authorize to accept and expend funds from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to fund the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Prevention and Control of Emerging Infectious Diseases in the amount of $3,047,474. (3) Further authorize the funds to be allocated as detailed in the letter November 20, 2023. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2025. 100% Federal Funds. Contingent upon Fiscal Committee approval on December 15, 2023.
