Authorize to retroactively amend a Fiscal Committee Item (originally approved by G&C on 2/18/22, Item #122), by extending the end date from June 30, 2023 to June 30, 2025 to accept and expend a grant in the amount of $1,165,262 from the US Department of Justice, Community Oriented Policing services, Anit-Heroin Task Force Grant, for the purpose of expanding and enhancing law enforcement interdiction and investigation efforts related to opioid-related crimes. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2025. 100% Federal Funds. Fiscal Committee approved on August 11, 2023.
