Authorize the Division of Agricultural Development to award grants as detailed in the letter dated April 21, 2023, for an amount totaling $749,999.45, from the Meat Processing Infrastructure and Training Investment Program to eight recipients to alleviate impacts of COVID-19 on the local meat and poultry processing industry by supporting increased capacity, labor saving efficiencies, and encouraging value-added products through capital investments and other related infrastructure improvements. Effective upon G&C approval through May 3, 2024. (2) Further authorize the Department to disburse advance payments to the eight recipients as detailed in said letter in the amount of 75 percent of total grant award with a maximum of $100,000 per project totaling $413,587.09.
