Authorize to accept and expend federal funds in the amount of $1,073,321 from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to fund the Community Re-Entry Program. (2) Further authorize the funds to be allocated as detailed in the letter dated September 25, 2025. This reflects one year of award money out of an anticipated four years of grant funding through the CMS planning grant for community reentry. Grant Funds awarded for period after State Fiscal Year 2027 will be included in future operating budgets. (3) Further authorize to establish two full-time, temporary positions: Logisticians and Project Management Specialist 6 and Miscellaneous Community and Social Service Specialist 7. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2027. 100% Federal Funds. Fiscal Committee approved on October 17, 2025.
