Authorize to amend item #25 approved by G&C on July 13, 2011, by reallocating $51,630 for enhancing the services provided by the Homicide Survivor Services Program and developing written protocols, procedures and materials to assist in institutionalizing the program, by extending the end date from October 31, 2012 to June 30, 2013. Effective upon G&C approval. No Additional Funds. (2)Further authorize to continue one full-time temporary Program Specialist (LG 21) position that provides services and support to homicide victims’ families and institutionalizes the program in a format conducive to succession planning and replication in other communities and class 046 (Consultants) to contract for experts in trauma-informed grief counseling to train staff and service providers. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2013. 100% Federal Funds. Fiscal Committee approved.
